ASIQUAL has been formed as a response to extensive research into the needs of employers worldwide, which has identified some of the existing shortfalls and gaps in training provision that results in today’s generation of students leaving education unprepared for the world of work. We believe that in order to tackle this situation a clear focus on skills recognition is needed, alongside certification of traditional academic learning. To this end, we aim to respond to the needs of students, academics and employers by providing qualifications which certificate students’ skills as well as their academic achievement. All of our courses are designed to provide students with the essential skills they will need to progress in the workplace as well as the resourcefulness and initiative to achieve their goals.

Key transferable or “soft” skills, vital for employment, are embedded in all ASIQUAL programmes, allowing for progression into the workplace and for students’ continued achievement beyond the classroom. In addition to this, students may also receive a full profile of their skill development achieved while studying an ASIQUAL course, enhancing both their CV and job prospects.
